The danger behind the Fruit Juices

The scientists claim that fruit juices contain too much sugar that it can increase the risk of cancer. Even when processed and packaged, many substances in fruits that protect the body from disease, Australia researchers has tried to reveal how effective of a variety of fruits, vegetables, and juices in preventing the development of colon cancer. They made a questionnaire to 2,200 people associated with their food daily.
The research team later to track respondents over two years to see the pattern of development penyakit. result showed that those who eat fruits and vegetables such as apples, cabbage, cauliflower, and broccoli will reduce the risk of colon cancer. However, surprisingly, those who consumed fruit juice high risk for cancer.
The Journal of the American Dietetic Association found that those who drank fruit juices more than three glasses a day more likely to develop anal cancer, one form of bowel cancer. The researchers believe that the high content of sugar in the juice trigger cancer cell growth.
Many substances that are lost when the juice processing such as fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants. Yet, these substances can prevent the emergence of cancer. Over the years, we are advised to consume five servings of fruits and vegetables, including a glass of juice.
British researchers have claimed that the juice contains sugar too much. Scientists from the University of Balos, Wales, said better eating dried fruit rather than juice. Because the fact is, fresh squeezed fruit juices added five teaspoons of sugar in each glass.
Meanwhile, other diet experts say there is still much healthier than drinking fruit juice beverages. However, certain of the results of this study, high-fiber foods may help reduce cancer risk. Maybe it would be better if you eat only fresh fruit directly with chopped juice without having to be made so that the fiber content is not lost. Even if the juice to be made, make without the added sugar was given.

30% of Internet Users willing to pay for expensive

According to the study entitled Mobile Broadband Study 2010, compared to last year, costs incurred for the mobile Internet monthly fees rose 40 percent. In addition it also revealed that more than half of HSPA users interested in using the latest technology.

Of those surveyed, about 50 percent said they access the Internet while on the go. And one in five Internet users say the cable is ready to switch to mobile broadband.

User-specific mobile broadband, two-thirds of whom access the mobile internet services through a device smaller than a laptop.

Nokia Siemens Networks, which conducted the study said, an average increase in spending for Internet access are caused by two factors. The first is the increasing use of mobile broadband among existing customers. Second, is the high penetration of services in the segment of users who have excess income.

"Research shows that the demand for mobile broadband service is rising rapidly because it can deliver the desired connection, wherever users are," said Beppe Donagemma, Head of the West & South Europe, Nokia Siemens Networks, as quoted from PCWorld, 10 November 2010.

However, the quality of Internet experience needs to be improved to increase the adoption of mobile broadband. "Operators should prepare their networks to handle the types and volumes of data traffic in the future in order to sustain the growth of mobile broadband," said Donnagemma.

Mayorits those surveyed, said Donangemma, want to get data speeds and higher quality and wider network coverage. "As many as 58 percent of respondents expressed interest in high-speed mobile broadband technology and 30 percent do not mind paying top dollar for the service," he said.

The majority of current mobile Internet users want to use LTE for their internet speeds increase, and 31 percent of users intend to spend more time to access the Internet through mobile devices.

Interestingly, about 80 percent of users access the Internet through mobile broadband network from home. Instead of using cable-based broadband networks.

Liquid Radio, Bandwidth Optimizer Technology

In the event Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) Wireless 2011, Nokia Siemens Networks introduces a new architecture for mobile networks.

Unlike the previous technology, the technology called Liquid Radio is able to drain the capacity of broadband to the places most in need. Thus, network resources will be more efficient because of the distribution and redistribution of capacity based on user needs.

"Liquid is not confined, so it can flow to fill any gaps or spaces," said Thorsten Robrecht, Head of Product Management Network Systems, Nokia Siemens Networks, as quoted from the Connected Planet, Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

In the same way, Robrecht mentions, architectures Liquid Radio eliminate all barriers in the traditional mobile broadband network. "It's rewarding to cope with fluctuations in traffic due to the movement of users on the network," he said.

Robrecht explained, the core of the Liquid Radio is the ability to respond to fluctuating demand in the current network with a technique known as 'baseband pooling'.

This approach focuses resources needed to perform processing functions that are common to every base station in a particular area. 'Baseband pooling' help realize the sharing of resources is more cost effective in a wide geographic area.

This architecture uses Multiradio Flexi Antenna system based active antenna technology that combines the antenna and the radio parts in a container with a functional, built with a dedicated power amplifier for each antenna element.

Active antenna allows beamforming (the formation of wave files) - which focuses on a particular radio connection and directs it to specific users - as well as handle multiple technologies in one unit.

Together with other layers of coverage provided by the site configuration macro, pico and micro, beamforming enables capacity directed to where the desired user, resulting in additional capacity by 65 percent.

"We predict, the demand for increased network capacity up to 1 GB per user one day," says Robrecht. "If it happens, it does not just require an investment of very large networks, but also the unique combination of a variety of base station sites for a wide range of areas," he said.

Computer user satisfaction levels in the United States that uses a PC is still high

Windows operating system 8 which was launched some time ago thought would save the Personal Computer (PC) or desktop computer from extinction. The advent of Windows 8 is expected to refute the statement one of the founders of Apple, Steve Jobs, who says the PC era has ended and the post-PC era began.

Statistics show, most Americans still feel satisfied with the PCs they use. Ironically, their level of satisfaction using a PC with Apple products, Mac, higher than the PCs that use Windows operating system.

As quoted from page CNNMoney, a survey conducted by the American Customer Satisfaction Index shows the value of 78 (with the size of the highest value 100) to the satisfaction of using a PC. This value is the same as those obtained last year.

Apple still leads the category with a value of 87 PCs, up from the value obtained 86 years ago. Apple leads PC category for 8 years.

Ironically, the high value obtained PC with Windows operating system instead obtained Hewleett-Packard (HP). HP scored 78, up from the value obtained 77 years ago.

It is an irony, because HP has announced out of the PC business. HP CEO, Leo Apotheker, now it's called reason: "the impact of the tablet so real". That remark seemed to support the statement of Steve Jobs about the end-PC era and the beginning of post-PC era.

Meanwhile, other PC manufacturers that use Windows, namely Dell, Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Sony, get the same value, namely the value of 77.

Researchers from the ACSI, Claes Fornell and then call Apple's dominance of reason over the last 8 years. "Apple's advantage in combining innovation and diversification of products to make them defend it," said Fornell.

ACSI then assess the level of satisfaction with Apple's dominance will also be stable with other Apple products are popular in each category. For example the popular iPod music player, the iPhone which controls the smartphone market, which dominated the market and the iPad tablet.

Although PCs are still preferred, the tablet was estimated as the future of computing. This prediction is not only because of the growing popularity of tablet iPad or other products that use the Android operating system. In fact, when Windows 8 tested before the public some time ago, there were signals of Windows no matter prepares the newest operating system for tablets.

But, diperkirkan PC will not become extinct, because computer users still considered to require storage (storage) is large, with the power process, and various other devices (software that 'eating-places' in storage). This is a PC user needs at home, and not just in the office.

Gold From Outer Space ?

Scientists say they have found evidence that some precious metals, including gold and platinum, came from outer space billions of years ago.

Researchers from the University of Bristol, England to conclusions based on studies of sediment was four billion years in Greenland. They found the isotope in the sediment clearly different isotopes from the Earth.

According to them, this distinction reinforces the theory that mention the precious metals we use today to the earth through the release of a large meteor when new meteor 200 million years old. Metallic gold and other heavy metals and then sank into the earth's molten core in the early days.

"But the origin of the first of what is now the stuff of gold jewelry in the form of rings, necklaces and other even more exotic," reports the BBC, Risto Pyykkö.

According to scientists, metallic gold is formed in a collision between neutron stars, the most terrible explosion that has ever happened in the universe.

Japanese scientists have created the "elastic water."

Developed at Tokyo University, this new material consists mostly of water (95%) with an additional two grams of clay and organic matter. The resulting substance resembling gelatin or jelly, but it is very elastic and transparent.

This discovery was initially revealed last week in the latest issue of the scientific magazine Nature. According to Japanese scientists, this new material is very safe for the environment and humans, and very likely to become one of the important media in medical technology to help an injured or completing a safe surgery (such as replacing parts of the body that was cut).

Even with increasing density, this new material can be used to produce "ecologically plastic material," or it could replace the plastic at all. This stage is still in the research until September 2010. But if successful, scientists may have found a breakthrough to make the world a little greener.
